Hit Exchanges Sitting On Our Credits
August 12, 2008
Credits that don’t move - Which Hit Exchanges are sitting on our credits?
As a general rule, those ranked in the Top 20 do not have a problem moving credits. Credits that don’t move is called a sitting balance. And when there is a sitting balance of note, and we aren’t talking about 100 hits or some small amount like that, and we aren’t talking about hits purchased yesterday or bonuses or anything like that, the exchange is noted in bold.
This week, August 12 Hit Exchange Report, 2 Hit Exchanges in the Top 20 are noted with sitting balances. Since both exchanges are perennial Top 20 exchanges, and typically don’t have a problem with moving credits, these sitting balances likely occurred from credit sale , one - time offers, increased ratios, increased bonuses, and/or decreased surfing activity. Regardless, note this fact when planning your surfing schedule this week and before making any purchases.
Who are these 2 perennial Top 20 exchanges with sitting balances? WebBizInsider and ILoveHits.
Next week? Since they are both perennial Top 20 exchanges, and don’t normally have sitting balance issues, my bet is they will return to normal.
Speaking of sitting balances on Hit Exchanges, this topic reminds me of TopSurfer in it’s hay-day. There was a day when TopSurfer was one of the most popular and fast growing hit exchanges online. Everyone and their dog recommended this exchange, yet the Hit Exchange Report was warning of severe sitting balance issues. All of our testing teams collected thousands of non-moving hits, and David’s account balance actually reached 100,000 hits. Where is TopSurfer Today? We still collect and analyze more than 1000 hits from them for each report and their bounce rate averages more than 80%. By the way, that stinks.
I’ll finish this post up with one more so called big dog in the Hit Exchange world, not a Top 20 hit exchange, arguably the largest hit exchange online, and always a sitting balance issue. I’m talking about TrafficSwarm, an exchange we’ve tested more than other since 2002. On average, we collect and analyze more than 2000 hits from TrafficSwarm for each report, and their bounce rate is greater than 86%, and sitting balances are a real and serious issue.
These guys absolutely kill me.
David just bought like 50,000 credits from I Love Hits about a week or so ago, and then has the nerve to say that ILH has a running credit balance.
Duh! Of course I do. YOU JUST BOUGHT A BUNCH OF CREDITS!

No, purchased credits have never been counted, or upgraded bonuses, contest winnings, or anything from David’s account.
Jon, you know better, and already knew this fact.

So for the past 3 months or so, ILH has always delivered, but then as soon as he buys something, it doesnt deliver?

In the past 7 months, ILH has had a 5% or greater sitting balance for only 9 reports. Overall, this is better than most but not common with others ranked in the top 10. This week, my own account had a sitting balance of more than 2000 hits and this was after the last assigning 24-hours earlier. And no, this does not count the 5000 hits plus that I purchase each month and purposely place in a URL by itself to not count.
Again Jon, you no better.
