The #1 question we receive is

Where is TrafficSwarm? Maybe it’s the largest, the biggest, the oldest, most popular, etc.

Stats don’t lie!

Since our statistical testing of Hit Exchanges began in 2002, we’ve tested TrafficSwarm more than any other exchange, and continue to do so today.

Why isn’t TrafficSwarm listed in our rankings? Simple, it’s not ranked in the Top 20. And statistically speaking, it likely would not rank if our list was expanded to 50.

Yes, we know there are other ranking services out there proclaiming TrafficSwarm as the best, #1, the biggest and most popular in town. Well, we certainly don’t argue the fact they are the oldest and maybe the largest, but again stats don’t lie.

Where are the facts that prove TrafficSwarm is #1?

Statistical testing data VS Anecdotal Evidence.

What is Anecdotal Evidence, and most importantly why we don’t use it in our testing/rankings?

We have tested TrafficSwarm extensively over the years and continue to do so today. Thousands of hits collected and analyzed from a team of normal hit exchange users. Pro and free membership, creativity in advertising, many adaptations and still the same results.

One major problem we’ve always found with TrafficSwarm is large sitting balances. Sitting balances stink, no matter how you look at them, and we are talking about thousands of sitting hits that continue to grow.

What is a sitting balance and/or hit? These are hits earned or paid for that are yet to be delivered.

Recently, our testing expanded to include data from results. We closely track and analyze hits from app. 150 hit exchanges and receive data from more than 2000 sites. There are 2 numbers that highlight TrafficSwarm’s performance, and this is similar to what we’ve seen from TrafficSwarm for years now.

1. Bounce Rate

On average, most manual hit exchanges will experience a bounce rate of around 55%. Bounce rate reveals action on a web page of any kind. The percentage represents the amount of people who leave a web page without doing anything. They do not scroll, view another page, click a button for more info, nothing. The lower percentage is best and the best manual hit exchanges will experience a bounce rate of around 35-40%.

What about TrafficSwarm? In our last report, TrafficSwarm’s bounce rate was 85.82%

Of the more than 150 exchanges we watch closely and the more than 2000 sites we receive data from, 85.82% is by far the worse we’ve ever seen from a manual hit exchange.

2. Results

We use multiple and various methods to track results and all free. All of the current Top 20 hit exchanges produce results. Most exchanges will produce results, at least over a 90-day testing period. Guess what? Not TrafficSwarm! No results of any kind over the past 120-days. Zero! And we are talking about thousands and thousands of hits tracked and analyzed at TrafficSwarm alone.

Consequently, where is TrafficSwarm? Why isn’t TrafficSwarm listed in our rankings? The fact is results matter and statistical testing does not lie.

Statistics this week cover May 19 to June 29, 2008. The Hit Exchange Report is updated every Tuesday. Next update: July 8, 2008.

The Top 20 is a ranking of overall performance for the most recent six-week testing period. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.

Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking.

The Hit Exchange Report develops and evolves to serve the advertising concerns of the online business community. New statistical software and analysis applications are made available on a regular basis. Independent resources are used to monitor the hit exchanges. No one component is all-important in and of itself. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.

How effective is YOUR advertising? What are your actual results? To help you with these all-important questions, we are introducing new components to our overall analysis when determining the most effective hit exchanges. Please refer to the Data page in this report for specific information on individual hit exchanges.

The Top 20 is brought to you each week after analyzing the data of nearly 100 hit exchanges. All Hit Exchanges are given an equal opportunity to accrue hits. Exchanges that sit on credits are used less often. All figures are a function of how many members the exchange has, how easy their services are to use, viewing time, the ratio of views to hits, etc.

With the great proliferation of new exchanges multiplying on the Internet each week, statistics are more important than ever. The Top 20 is a very clean and productive collection of hit exchanges that have proven to work.

The most recent Hit Exchange Report (June 24 2008) collected and analyzed hits from more than 2018 sites. Most of these sites represent traffic exchanges of various kinds.

The Hit Exchange Report is 100% independent testing and ranking of the best hit exchanges in the world. We focus on “manual” hit exchanges only, as auto surfing exchanges of all kinds have been extensively tested and proven to be a waste of time and resources.

Our service was not born yesterday. The first Hit Exchange Report was produced on November 11, 2002, and weekly reports have been produced for subscribers without exception ever since.

Each Hit Exchange Report includes various rankings, benchmarks, summaries, useful info, advanced info, and raw data. We only look at statistical data that can be measured and verified. Voting, opinions, and commentaries may be interesting and/or fun, but not nothing you can take to the bank.

All we care about are the facts!

Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking

Attention Manual Hit Exchange Owners:

Please read this disclaimer.

Of the 2018 sites that the most current Hit Exchange Report collected and analyzed hits from, many are sites we’ve never heard of and have no idea what their main business is about. We do estimate that app. 175 of these sites are manual hit exchanges and/or provide manual hit exchange service of some kind.

We recommend only using manual hit exchanges and only those tested and exposed to be the best. Use the current Hit Exchange Report as a guide for planning your hit exchange advertising and making wise advertising chooses.

Statistics this week cover April 28 to June 8, 2008. The Hit Exchange Report is updated every Tuesday. Next update: June 17, 2008.

New! Raw Tracking Analysis represents hits to special tracking used to judge action or non-action on the part of visitors. Some hit exchanges have more responsive visitors than others.

New! Special Tracking Results shows the percentage of visitors that completed the action for each specific hit exchange. This is known as the rate of conversion.

New! The Bounce Rate indicates what percentage of visitors looked at the site (such as in surfing) and then immediately left the site.

Raw Hits - We take into consideration the sheer volume of traffic the Hit Exchange produces, apart from the quality of that traffic otherwise. Our system is designed so raw hits alone will not bring a Hit Exchange into the Top 20. We receive upwards of one million hits a month for analysis.

Unique Hits – Ten-thousand hits is ten-thousand hits, right? Not exactly. Is the Hit Exchange sending one person a hundred times to look at your site, or are they sending 100 different people? Where between these two extremes is the hit exchange performing?

Credits that don’t move - Which Hit Exchanges are sitting on our credits? Hit Exchanges sitting on more than 50% of our credits are highlighted in red in the tables below. Statistics in this category are determined by comparing hits not sent to the total hits available for the most current six-week period.

Auto-Surfing and Auto-Refreshing is NEVER a consideration. Adjustments are made to compensate for programs where auto-surfing and auto-refreshing are possible.

Statistics this week cover April 14 to May 25, 2008. The Hit Exchange Report is updated every Tuesday. Next update: June 3, 2008.
